The Holy Spirit's power (Acts 1:8, 2:4, 4:31) enable the apostles to proclaim Christ with courage (Acts 4:8). Integrity in speech and life are essential in ministry because we are working alongside the Holy Spirit. Unholiness has dire consequences (See Acts 5). Be Holy.

God's work cannot be outsourced to inappropriate persons. A person's talent is not conclusive of his suitability to serve. Even the seemingly mundane task of distributing food (Acts 6:1,2) required persons that were "of good repute, full of the Spirit and of wisdom" (Acts 6:3). Choose your co-workers carefully.

Even the early church has problems. Humility and teamwork go a long way to solve them. Assist your leaders to concentrate on prayer and the ministry of the word (Acts 6:4). If you are a leader, envision, empower and deploy your co-workers in tasks suitable for their unique individual gifts. Putting a person in a wrong position can be very destructive, both for that person, as well as for his team. Do no neglect one another's gifts.

Even successful ministry works (like those of Stephen's) encountered problems (Acts 6:8-15). Secret plans to instigate unsuspecting pawns to go against Stephen probably arose out of jealousy. Even "the people and the elders and the scribes" (Acts 6:12) were made use of by those from the synagogue of Freedmen (Acts 6:9). Be wary of participating in projects that ultimately scatter the church body, including the care group you are in.

纯洁与圣灵的工作

圣灵的大能(徒1:8,2:4,4:31)让使徒能够勇敢地宣告基督(徒4:8)。言语上和生活上的正直，对于我们的事工是很重要的，因为我们正与圣灵同工。不圣洁将有很严重的后果(见使徒行传5章)。要圣洁。

神的工作不可交托给不适当的人。一个人有才华本身并不代表他适合参与服事。即使是看起来很普通的事如分配食物(徒6:1,2)也需要“有好见证、满有圣灵和智慧的人”(徒6:3)。谨慎地挑选你的同工。

就连早期的教会也面对问题。谦卑和合作将是协助解决问题的方法。帮助你的领袖专心祈祷、传道(徒6:4)。如果你是一个领袖，定下远景、授权给你的同工并按着同工个人的恩赐，指派适合他们的工作。把一个人放在不对的地方，对他自己也对整个团队，都会有很大的破坏力。不要忽视了彼此的恩赐。

就连成功的事工(如司提反的)也会面对问题(徒6:8-15)。或许是出于嫉妒，煽动不知情的民众起来抵抗司提反的秘密计划展开了。就连“民众、长老、经学家”(徒6:12)都被会堂的“自由人”(徒6:9)所利用。要警醒,不参加那最终是拆毁肢体或小组的运动。
