Jesus said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me" (28:18). You should not be surprised at that claim now that you have gone through 27 chapters of how Matthew established THAT authority. Jesus HAS AUTHORITY:
This is because Jesus is from the royal line of David, from the blessed line of Abraham (Matt 1:1);
His divine birth is "from the Holy Spirit" (Matt 1:20), in fact He is "Immanuel" - God with us (Matt 1:23);
Even the Magi recognise and respond with gifts (Matt 2:1-11);
His forerunner John the Baptist is already great (Matt 11:11), even more so the one whom he points to;
The Heavenly Father endorses Jesus (3:17);
Jesus' impeccable track record against Satan boosts His credentials among the skeptics (Matt 4:1-10);
Because "he taught as one who HAD AUTHORITY..." (Matt 7:29) and demonstrated it over various sickness and ailments, even the demon possessed (Matt 8:16), etc.
APPLICATION: The One who has "all authority" in heaven and on earth now CHARGES YOU: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age" (Matt 28:19-20).
REFLECTION: If even the stars point to Him, and the winds and waves, pagans, "unclean", learned, young, old and even evil spirits OBEY Him, how about YOU?

耶稣说，“天上地上一切权柄都赐给我了”(28:18)。读到这里你无需感到惊讶，因为在27章的马太福音里，你已清楚知道马太是如何建立那权柄的。耶稣拥有所有的权柄:
那是因为耶稣是大卫王的后裔，是被祝福的亚伯拉罕的后裔(太1:1)；
祂神圣的出生是“从圣灵来的”(太1:20),事实上，祂就是“以马内利”--神与我们同在(太1:23);
就连那占星家也认出来并带了礼物过去(太2:1-11);
祂的先行者施洗约翰已经很大(太11:11),他所指向的那位更大；
天上的父更是对耶稣表示赞同(太3:17);
对于撒旦的攻击，耶稣所持的是无懈可击的记录，这大大地提高了祂在批判者当中地位的分量(太4:1-10);
因为“因为耶稣教导他们，像一个有权柄的人...”(太7:29)并把权柄用在各种疾病甚至是被邪灵附身的人身上等(太8:16)。
应用：那拥有天上地上“一切权柄”的那位现在吩咐你：“所以，你们要去使万民作我的门徒，奉父子圣灵的名，给他们施洗，我吩咐你们的一切，都要教导他们遵守。这样，我就常常与你们同在，直到这世代的终结。”(太28:19-20)。
反思：如果连天上的星星都指向祂，那风、那浪、外邦人、“不洁净的”、有学问的、年少的、年老的甚至是邪灵，都顺服祂，那你又当如何呢？
