Jesus' resurrection and the hope of resurrection featured prominently in Paul's testimonies. He insisted on this in his defense speeches.
"Brother, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees. It is with respect to the hope and the resurrection of the dead that I am on trial" (Acts 23:6).
Also, the resurrection featured prominently in the book (Acts 1:22, 2:31, 4:2, 4:33, 17:18, 17:32, 23:6, 23:8, 24:15, 24:21, 26:23). Even the Pharisees (of all people) AGREED with Paul on this (Acts 23:8-9).
REFLECTION: Does the resurrection of Jesus feature prominently in my mind each day as I face the troubles of my life?
APPLICATION: Make the resurrection of Jesus part of your thoughts as you face challenges to health, life and witnessing for Him.
Where do all the troubles Paul faced lead to?
As trouble after trouble piled onto Paul, "The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, “Take courage, for as you have testified to the facts about me in Jerusalem, so you must testify also in Rome" (Acts 23:11).
We see now where all these troubles were pointing to - TESTIFYING about Jesus Christ at two important places during Paul's time: at the birth place of the gospel (Jerusalem) and at the capital city of the political "power" of those days - Rome.
REFLECTION: We see the power of God through the gospel! For those who form part of the gospel story to the ends of the earth, rejoice and do not lose hope!

耶稣的复活和复活的盼望在保罗的见证中是很突出的。他在捍卫自己的见证时非常坚持这一点。
“我是法利赛人，也是法利赛人的子孙，我现在受审，是为了盼望死人复活！”(徒23:6)。
还有，在本书里也很突出复活(徒1:22,2:31,4:2,4:33,17:18,17:32,23:6,23:8,24:15，24:21,26:23)。就连法利赛人(在众人当中)也在这件事上认同保罗(徒23:8-9)。
反思：当我在面对人生的风浪时，耶稣的复活是否在我的脑海占据着重要的地位？
应用：在面对健康、生活和为耶稣作见证的挑战时，让耶稣的复活成为你思想的一部分。
保罗所面对的问题都往哪里去了？
当问题接踵而来时，“当天晚上，主站在保罗身边，说：“你要壮起胆来，你怎样在耶路撒冷作见证，也必照样在罗马为我作见证。”(徒23:11)
我们现在看到这些问题都指向哪里--在保罗当时最重要的两个地方为耶稣基督作见证:在福音的出生地(耶路撒冷)和当时拥有政治“大权”的首都--罗马。
反思：我们借着福音看到了神的大能！对于那些有份把福音带到地极的人，要欢喜，不要灰心！
