Scripture: Ezekiel 13:21–23 (ESV)
"Your veils also I will tear off and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand as prey, and you shall know that I am the LORD. Because you have disheartened the righteous falsely, although I have not grieved him, and you have encouraged the wicked, that he should not turn from his evil way to save his life, therefore you shall no more see false visions nor practice divination. I will deliver my people out of your hand. And you shall know that I am the LORD."
Reflection:
In this passage, God confronts false prophets—specifically, those who prophesied peace when there was none, and comforted the wicked while oppressing the righteous. These were not innocent mistakes; they were willful lies that led people away from repentance and truth.
But here’s the hope: God intervenes to rescue His people. He promises to tear off the veils—the symbols of deception—and deliver His people from the grip of spiritual manipulation. The false voices will be silenced. The confusion will be cleared. And in the end, both the deceivers and the delivered will know who truly reigns: “You shall know that I am the LORD.”
Application:
We live in a world full of noise—half-truths, spiritual counterfeits, and misleading comfort. But God still speaks. His Word cuts through the fog, delivering the weary, correcting the wayward, and anchoring the faithful.
As followers of Christ, we are not left prey to deception. Through the truth of His Word and the presence of His Spirit, He delivers us from lies that dishearten the righteous and excuse sin.
Let this be a call to discernment. Let it be a reminder that God's justice does not ignore false teaching. And above all, let it be a comfort: God fights for His people—and when He does, there is no mistaking who He is.
Prayer:
Lord, open our eyes to see Your truth clearly. Deliver us from the lies that discourage righteousness and comfort sin. Silence every voice that twists Your Word, and let Your Spirit lead us in truth. Thank You that You fight for us, and that in You we find our deliverance. We proclaim today: You are the Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

反思：
在这段经文中，上帝面对的是假先知，特别是那些在没有和平的时候预言和平，在欺压义人的时候安慰恶人的人。这些都不是无辜的错误；它们是蓄意的谎言，使人们远离悔改和真理。

应用：
我们生活在一个充满噪音--半真半假、精神伪装和误导性安慰的世界里。但上帝仍在说话。祂的话语拨开迷雾，拯救疲惫的人，纠正迷途的人，锚定忠诚的人。
作为基督的跟随者，我们不会被欺骗。通过祂话语的真理和祂圣灵的同在，祂将我们从谎言中解救出来，这些谎言让公义的人灰心丧气，为罪恶开脱。
让我们以此为号召，明辨是非。让它提醒我们，上帝的公义不会无视错误的教导。最重要的是，让它成为一种安慰： 神为祂的子民而战--当祂为子民而战的时候，祂是谁是不会错的。
祷告：
主啊，求你开启我们的眼睛，让我们看清你的真理。救我们脱离那些阻碍公义、安慰罪恶的谎言。让所有歪曲您话语的声音安静下来，让您的圣灵引领我们进入真理。感谢您为我们而战，在您里面我们找到了解脱。我们今天宣告你是主。奉耶稣的名。阿门。
