MEDITATION: The LORD continued to bring Ezekiel on the tour of the new temple He had envisaged.

Various interpreters have viewed the new temple of Ezek 40-48 as either (1) a physical rebuilding, (2) the presence of God with the church, (3) the future new heavens and new earth or (4) various combinations of the above. But the important points seem clear.

(1) The fact that "the glory of the LORD filled the temple of the LORD" (Ezek 44:4) meant that the LORD had ACCEPTED the temple as His residence again. Indeed, "I will accept you" (Ezek 43:27). Worship in humility would be the appropriate response ("I fell on my face",Ezek 44:4).

(2) Statutes and laws continued its function to mould and regulate worshipers (Ezek 44:5). God's will and word should still prevail in the new temple, regardless of the opinions of the new media.

(3) Various roles were given to various groups. Past performances played a part in the roles assigned to the Levites (Ezek 44:10-14). Roles assigned could NOT be outsourced to unauthorised people (Ezek 44:8), because being uncircumcised in the matters of the "heart and flesh" (Ezek 44:9) disqualified their service before the LORD.

(4) Propriety in personal grooming and conduct, orderliness and purity in marital relationships were not done away with (Ezek 44:17-27).

REFLECTION: Are our attitudes, emotions, dressing and behaviour fit and proper for a place where "the glory of the LORD" has "filled the temple of the LORD"? Are we bowing down to the LORD, sincerely, wholeheartedly or not at all?

默想：耶和华继续带以西结去参观祂设想的新殿。

不同的译者对以西结40-48的新殿持有两种看法(1)重建的建筑物，(2)有神同在的教会，(3)未来的新天和新地或(4)综合以上所提的几种组合。但重点很清楚。

(1)“耶和华的荣耀充满耶和华的殿”(结44:4)，这表示耶和华已再次接纳新殿作为祂的居所了。确实，“我必悦纳你们”(结43:27)。谦卑地敬拜祂将是最恰当的回应(“我就脸伏在地”，结44:4)。

(2)规条和法则继续牵制和塑造信徒(结44:5)。神的旨意和话语在新殿仍然占上风，无论新媒体的看法如何。

(3)不同的族群被分配了不同的角色。利未人所被分配的角色与他们过去的表现大有关系(结44:10-14)。被分配的角色不可外包给没有授权的人(结44:8)，因为“身心”未受割礼的人(结44:9)不配在耶和华面前服务。

(4)个人仪容、仪表和行为举止的得体、婚姻关系的纯洁并没有被废除(结44:17-27)。

反思：我们的态度、情感、衣着和行为是否适合“耶和华的荣耀充满圣殿”的这个地方？我们是否真诚、全心全意地向主献上敬拜，还是根本不敬拜？
