MEDITATION: Sense the ratios of size of land alloted? The Most Holy Place (10,000 cubits), ministry place for the Levites (10,000 cubits) and for the "whole house of Israel" (5,000 cubits). We sense that the LORD and the worship of Him occupied a central place in this new temple.

REFLECTION: Look at how we allocate our money, annual leave, our book shelves or opportunities that come our way? Whose interests come to your minds first?

To "the prince" was alloted land, yet there was rebuke against the "princes of Israel" (Ezek 45:9). This seems to be a reminder of the ethical requirements of living "alongside the holy district" (Ezek 45:7). Violence, oppression and dishonesty of all sorts were condemned (Ezek 45:9-12).

In addition, the command to "celebrate the Feast of the Passover" (Ezek 45:21-24) and the Feasts of the Tabernacles (Ezek 45:25, Lev 23:34) upheld the importance of God's work of saving His people and protecting His people.

APPLICATION: Remember God's grace in saving us from sin. Be thankful for His salvation and protection. Let our ethical behaviour match the honour and privilege associated with life in the new temple.

默想：你注意到那土地分配的比例吗？至圣所(十二公里半长，五公里宽)，给在圣所里供职的利未人(十二公里半长，五公里宽)和给“以色列全家”(宽两公里半，长十二公里半)。我们可以意识到耶和华和敬拜祂的地方在这新殿占了中心之地。

反思：看看我们如何分配我们的金钱、年假、书架上要阅读的书籍以及各种突如其来的“机会”？你会优先选哪一样，以谁的利益为最先的考量？

“君王”被分配了地，但“以色列的君王”却也被谴责了(结45:9)。这似乎是提醒住在“圣区的旁边”的人道德生活的必要（结45:7）。各类暴力，压迫和不诚实的行为都被谴责（结45：9-12）。

另外，“要守逾越节”(结45:21-24)和住棚节(结45:25，利23:34)的指令突显了神拯救祂子民和保护祂子民的重要性。

应用：记住神把我们从罪恶中拯救出来的恩典。感谢祂的救恩和保守。让我们的道德行为与在新殿生活的荣幸和荣耀相匹配。
