📖 Ezekiel 30:1–3
[1] The word of the LORD came to me: [2] “Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: “Wail, ‘Alas for the day!’ [3] For the day is near, the day of the LORD is near; it will be a day of clouds, a time of doom for the nations. (ESV)

🔍 Reflection

Ezekiel 30 is part of God’s judgment pronounced against Egypt of Ezekiel’s time and its allies—nations known for their pride, power, and idolatry. They were strong in the eyes of the world, but their hearts were far from God. This passage reminds us that no earthly power can stand against the sovereign hand of the Lord.

The "day of the Lord" described here is not just a moment of national crisis—it’s a divine intervention. A day of clouds and doom. A day when God says, "Enough." Though these words were originally for Egypt, they echo a much broader warning: judgment is coming—for every nation, and every soul.

But within the warning is also mercy. The very fact that God speaks through Ezekiel is grace—He reveals judgment before it falls, so that hearts might turn, and repentance may come.

🙌 Gospel Truth

Ezekiel 30 confronts us with the reality of judgment, but the cross of Jesus confronts us with the beauty of grace. Christ took the "day of doom" upon Himself—He was swallowed up in clouds of wrath so that we could walk in light.

Where Egypt fell because of sin, Jesus stood in our place.

Where judgment crushed nations, grace now rescues souls.

Where the "day of the Lord" once meant terror, for those in Christ it now means hope, justice, and glory.

🧠 Personal Application

(1) Where is your confidence?
Egypt trusted in armies and alliances. Are you trusting in your strength, your resources, or your status more than in God?

(2) Are you warning others?
Ezekiel spoke even when it was hard. As believers, we are called to lovingly warn the world that judgment is real—and Jesus saves.

(3) Do you live with eternity in view?
The day of the Lord is near—not just historically, but prophetically. Let it shape your priorities, relationships, and choices today.

🛐 Prayer

Lord God, You are sovereign over all nations. Your judgments are true, and Your grace is astounding. Help me to live with holy fear, Gospel hope, and a heart fully surrendered to You. Use me to speak truth in love to a world that needs to hear. Thank You for Jesus, who bore my judgment so I could walk in freedom. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

🔍 反思

以西结书30是上帝对以西结时代埃及及其盟友的审判的一部分——这些国家以骄傲、权力和偶像崇拜而闻名。他们在世人眼中是强大的，但他们的内心却远离上帝。这段经文提醒我们，没有任何世俗势力能抵挡上主的主权之手。

这里所描述的“耶和华的日子”不仅仅是国家危机的时刻——它是神圣的干预。一个充满乌云与灾难的日子。一个上帝说“够了”的日子。尽管这些话最初是针对埃及说的，但它们回响着一个更广泛的警告：审判即将到来——针对每一个国家，每一个灵魂。

但在这警告中也蕴含着怜悯。上帝通过以西结说话本身就是恩典——祂在审判降临前就揭示审判，好叫人心回转，悔改临到。

🙌 福音真理

以西结书30章向我们揭示了审判的现实，但耶稣的十字架向我们揭示了恩典的美好。基督承担了“灾难之日”——祂被愤怒的云彩吞没，好让我们能在光明中行走。

埃及因罪而灭亡，耶稣却替我们站立。

当埃及因罪而倾覆时，耶稣替我们站立。

当审判摧毁列国时，恩典如今拯救灵魂。

当“耶和华的日子”曾意味着恐惧时，对那些在基督里的人来说，它现在意味着希望、公义和荣耀。

🧠 个人应用

(1) 你的信心在哪里？
埃及依赖军队和联盟。你是否比依赖上帝更依赖自己的力量、资源或地位？

(2) 你是否在警告他人？
以西结即使在艰难时刻也发声。作为信徒，我们被呼召以爱警告世界：审判是真实的——而耶稣拯救。

(3) 你是否以永恒为视野而活？
主的日子近了——不仅在历史意义上，更在先知意义上。让它塑造你今日的优先次序、关系与选择。

🛐 祷告

主上帝，您掌管万国。您的审判是真实的，您的恩典是惊人的。求您帮助我以圣洁的敬畏、福音的盼望，以及全然顺服您的心来生活。求您使用我，以爱说出真理，让这个需要听见真理的世界听见。感谢您赐下耶稣，祂承担了我的审判，使我得以在自由中行走。奉耶稣的名祷告，阿们。
