In Christ, the broken relationship between the Creator God and Creation is patched back as one. People from all nations too come together as one church under Christ.

Believers obtain these blessings by faith in Jesus Christ, including the great salvation. Believers need not fear the unravelling of this because of the participation of all three Persons in the Trinity God :-

(1) The Father "chose us in him before the foundation of the world" (Eph 1:4）and His will could not be defeated.

(2) Our "adoption as sons through Jesus Christ" has been predestined (Eph 1:5). No one can thwart "the purpose of his will" (Eph 1:5).

(3) Using mercantile language, Paul used the term "sealed" (Eph 1:13) and "guarantee" (Eph 1:14) to signify the certainty that eventually we would definitely "acquire possession of it" (Eph 1:14).

PRAYER: Dear LORD, help me to be assured of my salvation because of your work done before I came onto the scene. Help me to live out that assurance in all parts of my life. Renew my thankfulness and joy as I go about my daily activities.

在基督里，造物主神和被造之间的破碎关系修复和好了。来自各国的子民聚集在一起成为基督的一个教会。

信徒信靠耶稣基督而得到祝福，包括伟大的救恩。信徒不必惧怕会被拆散，因为有着三位一体的神的参与：-

(1) 天父“创立世界以前，他在基督里拣选了我们”(弗1:4)而祂的旨意是无可违背的。

(2) 我们“借着耶稣基督得儿子的名分”，这是早已预定的事(弗1:5)。没有人可以阻拦“他的旨意”(弗1:5)。

(3) 保罗用商业用语“受印记”(弗1:13)和“得凭据”(弗1:14)来象征我们将来必然“得属神的产业”(弗1:14)。

祷告：主啊，帮助我确认我的救恩，因为在我之前你已为我成就了一切。帮助我在生命的各方面都活出那得救的确据。在每一天的日常生活里都能有感恩和喜乐的陪伴。
