QT 01/04/2024 Monday: What are you building this new day?

The nights of trial, betrayal and death have passed. Jesus has risen, "He is not here, for he has risen, as he said..." (28:6). This new week and day give rise to new tomorrows past the night, "the dawn of the first day of the week" (28:1).

In answer to their "fear" (28:8) and "doubt" (28:17), the angel and Jesus told followers similar words "Do not be afraid" (28:5,10).

In answer to their lostness due to the dark moments of the past week when they could not see what fate or direction was ahead, (1) the angels said "there you will see him" at Galilee (28:7) and (2) Jesus asked his brother to go to Galilee "and there they will see me" (28:10). Similar words again.

In answer to the destructive nature of the "great earthquake" (28:2) and the opening of the previous sealed tomb with stone rolled back (28:2),  the angel pointed them to Jesus while Jesus pointed his followers to the mission ahead—they were to "make disciplies of all nations" (28:19).

Reflection (1): What are you making or building today, the first passion that you gravitate towards while the rest of calender items are only "have to do's" only, never the core. The peripherals and accessories exist to enhance the core, are'nt they? Are we at the right activity?

Reflection (2): Since the scope of Jesus' authority is universal "All authority in heaven and on earth" (28:18), so is the mission of his followers–"all nations" (20:19). Are we engaging at the right scope of ministry in its breadth and width?

审判、背叛和死亡的夜晚已经过去。耶稣复活了，"他不在这里，已经照他所说的复活了..."（28:6）。新的一周，新的一天，"天亮"（28:1）带来了新的明天。

为了回答他们的 "害怕"（28：8）和 "怀疑"（28：17），天使和耶稣对跟随者说了类似的话："不要怕"（28：5，10）。

过去一周的黑暗时刻，他们看不清前方的生命的方向。为了回答他们的迷茫，（1）天使说他们在加利利"必看见他"（28:7），（2）耶稣吩咐兄弟们去加利利，"他们在那里必看见我"（28:10）。又是类似的话。

针对 "大地震"（28：2）的破坏性和先前被封的坟墓被打开，石头被滚开（28：2），天使把他们指向耶稣，而耶稣则把他的跟随者指向未来的使命–他们要 "使万民作我的门徒"（28：19）。

思考 (1): 今天你在经营什么或建造什么，你为什么东西而疯狂，而日历上的其他项目只是 "必须做的"，从来都不是核心。外围设备和配件的存在是为了增强核心，不是吗？我们的活动正确吗？

反思 (2): 既然耶稣的权柄是普世性的 "天上地下所有的权柄"（28:18），那么他的追随者的使命是否也是普世性的 "万民"呢？
