MEDITATION: The allotment of land in Ezekiel 47-48 displayed some basic facts of the new temple: people were to live on land alloted by the LORD Himself.

The use of the 12 tribes of Israel to depict this new temple reminds us that God's age-old intention of living among His people was not discarded even as history moved forward.

Let's not forget the big picture: The new temple would be the place where the LORD is present. God residing with His people is a most wonderful thing to happen to His people.

The LORD's name is now worshiped internationally. Let's not forget that Ezekiel's new temple required residents (wherever they might be) to acknowledge and respect His ownership and design (Ezek 40-42), to welcome His presence and His laws (Ezek 43-46), to keep the "new land" holy and orderly (Ezek 47-48). This was because the nature of the new temple must synchronise with its name: "The LORD Is There" (Ezek 48:35).

REFLECTION: Are our lives already sanctified in name and practice to be fittingly called "The LORD Is There"?

耶和华的名现在已在全球被崇拜。别忘了，以西结的新殿需要居民（无论在何处）遵守和尊重祂的主权和计划（结40-42）、欢迎祂的同在和律法（结43-46）、保持“新地”圣洁有序（结47-48）。这是因为新殿的性质必须与它的名相称：“耶和华的所在”（结48:35）。

反思：我们的生活是否已走向成圣之路，且在名义上和行为上能够称得上是“耶和华的所在”？
