MEDITATION: Pride had led human beings to forget this truth: "I am the LORD" (Ezek 28:22,24,26). The LORD re-educated Ezekiel's audience to this fact.

It was precisely because Yahweh was the LORD that what He had said would stand, "Thus says the LORD God" (Ezek 28:2,6,12,22,25).

The city of Tyre took pride in her geographical advantage for trade: she sat "in the seat of the gods, in the heart of the seas" (Ezek 28:2). Her trade and wealth contributed to her pride (Ezek 28:5). This even resulted in her claiming "I am a god" (Ezek 28:2,6).

REFLECTIONS: Has our wealth, or well being, made us proud? Is there a co-relation between pride and being financially well-off, like Tyre (Ezek 28:15-16)?

Judgments against Tyre (Ezek 28:17-19) and Sidon (Ezek 28:20-24) pointed to the LORD's deity. So did the LORD's gathering of His scattered people (Ezek 28:25-26). Won't you come to Him today and accept the salvation that He has so freely provided for us in Christ?

默想：骄傲使人类忘记了这个真理：“我是耶和华”(结28:22,24,26)。耶和华重新教育以西结的听众这个真理。

这正是因为耶和华是神，以致祂怎么说，事情就怎么成，“耶和华这样说”(结28:2,6,12,22,25)。

推罗城为自己在商业上占优越的地理位置而骄傲: 她坐在“海的中心、坐在神的宝座上”(结28:2)。她的交易和财富导致她高傲(结28:5)。这甚至使她“自以为是神”(结28:2,6)。

反思：我们的财富和成就是否让我们变得高傲？骄傲和富裕之间是否相互关联，就如推罗一样(结28:15-16)？

推罗和西顿的审判彰显了神的神性，让人们知道祂就是耶和华。耶和华召集祂分散的子民，让他们知道祂就是耶和华(结28:25-26)。现在，你愿意来到祂面前，接受祂在基督里为我们无偿提供的救赎吗？
